Avoiding Rug Creases During Storage
Below you will see some interesting photos of two tufted rugs that were rolled for storage. Because the rugs were rolled improperly the stiff backing of each was creased and now project a bend on the top side of the rugs. When rolling a rug like these always roll them around a cardboard roll to maintain the integrity of the foundation. We were contacted by the storage company to fix the problem. With some steam and a thorough cleaning of the back side these should eventually lay flat again.
