The Chair pictured above was brought to us recently by one of our Boston area customers. The photo shows the results of the wrapping process by the company hired to transport it. Although wrapping upholstered furniture is very important to help prevent moving soils like dust, grime and dirty hands from contacting it, care must be show to prevent wrinkles and creases. Wrapping this chair too tighly will cause the fabric to pull and distort, changing its shape and the way it lies. We we were contacted to not only clean this piece, but to also try to remove the wrinkles without creating any noticeable changes to the look and feel of this fine silk fabric.
