During a recent visit to Christies Auction House in New York City we were lucky enough to view some very old and valuable pieces of upholstered furniture. We don’t see many pieces like these in our Boston area carpet and upholstery cleaning company, but every once in a while we come across a very old piece. Usually its best not to try to clean these truly antique items, as any change to the look or feel to the fabric can decrease its value-however, occasionally a customer wants us to try spot or stain removal.
