The Heart of Team Regal: Pete, Shanna and Sophia!

Over the last twenty years or so we have been involved with and tried to publicize many worthy charities and causes.  Going forward into 2010 will be no exception to this rule as we have always felt that helping others is being a good corporate neighbor.  While all the causes that we’ve supported over the years are important there are some events that hit close to home.  The MS walk at the Harvard Athletic Complex (see below) this April 11th is one of these.  I say this because on Christmas Eve 2008 I got the diagnosis that I was suffering from MS.  I feel fortunate in that the only manifestations at this point are a limp and general fatigue during the work day.  One of my deepest regrets of my condition is that I will now be working part time and not going out on the truck as often I would like.  I have certainly enjoyed working for the wonderful clientele we’ve been privileged to know over the years, I have always said the best part of my job is the people I have met.

My family and I are optimistic that my condition will not worsen over the years, and may hopefully improve with the promising research taking place around the world.  Along with myself, my wife Shanna and our one year old daughter Sophia as well as several members of the Regal Familiy will be helping by taking part in the MS Walk this April 11th to raise money to give “help for today and hope for tomorrow” to the many sufferers of MS around the country.  Please consider joining us for what is sure to be a great event or if you can’t walk with us please visit                 Team Regal and make a pledge.

Join us on April 11, 2010 for a fun spring walk at Harvard University Athletic Complex in Boston.  The walk offers three and five mile routes, and there are stops along the way supplied with snacks, beverages and restrooms.  We look forward to seeing you!
