Pictured above is a beautiful needlepoint wall hanging brought to us by one of our Boston area clients. This piece, although very old, has never been professionally cleaned. We were able to safely and thoroughly clean this at our Woburn, MA location after properly testing our cleaning detergents and methods in an inconspicuous location. From the coloring you can see that there are many individual fabrics stitched together that make up this wonderful wall hanging. Ensuring that fabrics do not shrink and colors do not run is the purpose of pre-testing all fabrics prior to cleaning.
Keep in mind that a professional cleaning not only will remove spots and spills but if done properly can also remove bad odors like mustiness as well as pet accident smells. Some permanent staining may occur with with certain spills after cleaning but overall a wall hanging can be safely cared for if not allowed to remian uncleaned too long.

- Pre-test any solution you intend to use in a hidden area prior to spot removal
- Have your furnishings professionally cleaned every 12-24 months to help them last a life time
