Do I really need to spend additional money properly treating my fine rugs with insect repellant and wrapping them in that fancy white paper “TYVEK”® ???
We are often asked this question. Understandably customers want to make sure there are no additional expenses associated with the care of their rugs that are not absolutely necessary. If your Oriental, or other fine rugs are to be stored for an extended period of time a proper rug washing is a given. We also suggest, as do many of our rug washing friends, that an insect repellant be applied and finally that a “breathable” wrap be used to protect each rug from their surroundings.
