How To Remove Wrinkles From Rugs:
Often “Machine-Tufted” rugs can get wrinkled when improperly stored for an extended period of time or from shipping without enough care. Removing wrinkles from “Machine-Tufted” rugs can be a simple process, usually. Lay the rug on a flat surface, upside down. Mist warm water on the back of the rug, covering all areas that are wrinkled, making sure to not OVER-WET the rug.
Lay a weighted, flat object like plywood over the wrinkled areas and allow to remain in place for 24 hours. After 24 hrs remove the weights and speed-dry using fans.
The wrinkles should be gone!
