If your upholstered furniture has an odor problem the cause can be deep within the construction of the sofa, chair, headboard or ottoman. As the video below demonstrates, the proper way to eliminate all odors from pet accidents, smoke, mold etc. is to fully submerge an item in detergent. Most Oriental rugs for example can be completely submerged-upholstered furniture cannot be. To help serve our Boston area customers we have developed cleaning techniques which can penetrate deep within the foundation of most upholstery, but no process can insure full odor elimination. The type of contamination and the length of time the items have been in contact with the odor causing substances greatly affect the results.
