About Regal Fabric Care

Regal Fabric Care was established in 1991 to bring the most comprehensive care and maintenance to soft furnishings to the Boston area.

We serve Metro Boston and points south, north and west.  We also from time to time are called to travel to Rhode Island and Southern Maine.

Our focus is concentrated on the care and cleaning of Oriental and specialty rugs, carpeting (wool is a specialty of ours), upholstered fabrics and drapery and odor control (usually associated with pet or child spots).  Our clients range in demographics from home owners, assisted living communities, condominiums associations, medical & veterinarian practices, property managers and stand alone office buildings, including high rise suites.

Typically we are called upon to create a maintenance plan that will keep a home or office looking its best as well as extending the useful life of the flooring, but more importantly, periodic cleaning will make for a Safer, Healthier place to work and live-We GUARANTEE It!

Don’t forget the occasional accident: A toner cartridge spill in the office, a family pet can’t wait to be taken outdoors, the kids write on the sofa with ink or your local contractor tracks mud and grime into your home…..Emergency calls are also what we are here for.

We always invite you contact us at info@regalfabriccare.com or me directly at david.mavilio@regalfabriccare.com if you have questions or would like an evaluation of your home, office or condominium.  Thank you for reading, David Mavilio

TO: Jim Gildea: Thank you for your question.
Haitian Cotton is problematic even for professionals-if you intend to clean your cushion covers yourself try this:
Wash them on a “gentle cycle” using Woolite clothing detergent in cold water-dilute the Woolite per manufacturer’s instructions.
Pretreat spots with Woolite straight, no dilution-aggitate gentle with a sponge.
Remove the covers as soon as the cycle is complete and place them back onto the cushions…DO NOT place them in a Dryer
Use a household fan to dry the covers once they are placed back onto the cushions.
Best of Luck!

having read your comments about the difficulty of cleaning Haitian cotton,I wonder if you could suggest a commercial cleaner I could try at home. I have some some 1/2 dozen cushion covers made of this material which need spot cleaning. Thanks for any advice you can offer.
